Avondale House & Forest Park

Avondale House & Forest Park

Referred to as “The birthplace of Irish forestry”.

Over 500 acres of secluded forestry surrounds the historic Avondale House, once home to the famous Charles Stewart Parnell and now site of a museum dedicated to his life and times.

Avondale House is open to visitors sporadically throughout the year, but the forest park can be accessed every day. Perfect for nature walks and picnics.
