Glendalough is Wicklow’s sprawling National Park and an ancient monastic city that served as the home of Saint Kevin in the 6th century and is still charged with beautiful and mysterious energy from its yawning lakes to its mountain tops.

11th century ruins cover much of the Monastic city and serves as a snapshot of what the Irish religious and cultural experience was like during this time, and this is why Glendalough has always been a popular site of pilgrimage.

Glendalough National Park offers visitors the opportunity to explore the Wicklow landscape in all of its untamed beauty.

You can explore Glendalough with guided tours or simply wander through its majestic landscapes on your own.
