Brittas Bay Beach is Wicklow’s largest sandy beach with over 5 km of powdery sand, dunes full of rare plant species, and beautiful coastal scenes that make it the perfect destination for summer sun-worshipers and day trippers alike.
Its status as a Blue Flag Beach means that Brittas Bay excels and meets all of the European Union’s stringent rules, and its significance to the larger Leinster community is visible as people from all over the county (and sometimes further) flock to its sandy shores for a day break or holiday away on its adjoining caravan park.
