Having originally surfaced in the 1920’s, Wicklow Hockey Club reformed in 1996 and have not looked back since. The club has a thriving juvenile section with over 190 members signed up to play regularly on the new Nelson Park astro pitch in the East Glendalough secondary school. To add to the buoyant junior section, Wicklow Hockey Club has senior men’s and ladies teams taking part in the Leinster Leagues. The club opens it doors to anyone who is looking to play hockey and get some exercise.
