Support local in the Irish Bookshop of the Year Awards

Support local this year by voting for Bridge Street Books in the An Post Irish Book Awards 2021. This new initiative was unveiled by An Post to offer book lovers across Ireland the chance to vote for their favourite bookshop.

Bridge Street Books is an independent and family-run shop that opened in Wicklow Town in November 1999.

It’s located in an iconic old house on Bridge Street, steeped in Wicklow Town history. Inside it’s nooks and crannies you will find an extensive range of books – and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, their team will go to great lengths to order you even the most obscure of books!

If you’ve ever been in store, you will have met their ever-helpful staff Hilary and Joanne. They are are so passionate about books and absolutely love to recommend great reads or help people find a suitable book.

Voting closes on Tuesday 31st August at 5pm so head over to the competition site and vote for Wicklow’s favourite bookshop now!

When you submit your vote, you’ll also be entered into a draw for a €100 book voucher.
