Ukrainian Support Videos and Maps Launched
On Monday, 22nd August Wicklow Children and Young People Services Committee [Wicklow CYPSC] together with Bray Area Partnership and Co. Wicklow Partnership launched three videos and a series of maps designed to offer support to the Ukrainian community in Co. Wicklow.
Since the start of 2022 Wicklow has welcomed Ukrainian people displaced by the war in their homeland. The partners involved in the Community Response Forum led by Wicklow County Council have been working hard to make this transition as easy as possible.
The videos and maps being launched today will help that transition.

The Co-ordinator of Co. Wicklow CYPSC, Fionnuala Curry, said: “We are delighted to launch the videos and maps today and we hope that they will help our friends from Ukraine to find the main services and supports in the county.
“We know this is a challenging time for you and we hope this will help in a small way. I am grateful to my partners Bray Area Partnership and County Wicklow Partnership for their significant contribution to this project and to McKenna Creative for their work in designing both the videos and maps.
“We are asking people to promote the videos and maps by sharing the links widely through their websites and social media accounts.”
