A MOMENT Solo Exhibition by Ciarán Meister at Wicklow Library

The exhibition presents a new body of landscape paintings inspired by places around Wicklow, including Glendalough, Brittas Bay, and the surrounding mountains, fields, and forests. These works further refine and expand the artist’s distinctive painting technique, where vertical lines construct intricate, tapestry-like landscapes. Inspired by Ireland’s diverse natural scenery—from rugged mountains to brooding seascapes—the paintings explore the transient qualities of the landscape, capturing shifting light and the emotional resonance of place. Through a dynamic interplay of abstraction and representation, the works invite viewers to experience familiar environments in a fresh, immersive way.

An Tairseach Spring Programme - Ayurvedic Cooking And Nutrition With Dr. Rajvindar Kaur

Back by popular demand, we invite you to join us to explore Ayurvedic Cooking and Nutrition as Dr Rajvinder Kaur returns to Wicklow to present her popular Ayurvedic Cookery & Nutrition Course.

This workshop is focused on understanding basic principles of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic nutrition. Dr. Kaur will show you how to prepare delicious healthy, balancing meals during an informative demonstration-based cookery course. The Ayurveda food demonstrated in this workshop is focused on good protein in the diet and healthy fats. We will be exploring the super food ‘’Millet’’ as part of this workshop.

A diet which is nutritious dense, rather than calorie dense helps to attain good mood, strong bones and is good for effective weight loss.

A delicious lunch incorporating the dishes cooked earlier and organic vegetables from our farm will be served during the cookery session. This is followed by a tour of the Organic Farm & Gardens at An Tairseach where you will hear about the benefits of growing your own organic vegetables and get a chance to explore our Labyrinth and Cosmic Garden.

Buion Muire Lourdes Wicklow (CGI) is a Company of Cygnets, Brigini, Guides and Rangers based in Wicklow Town.

Meetings are held in De La Salle Pastoral Centre on Tuesday evenings:

5.30pm for Cygnets;

6.30pm for Brigini and 

6.30pm Guides & Rangers

All girls are welcome, from all denominations and backgrounds.

Wicklow Male Voice Choir practices in the De La sale Pastoral Centre every Tuesday at 8:00 pm from the beginning of September until the end of May.

New members are welcome and can contact the choir by email at info@wicklowmvc.net. 

Alternatively prospective members can just turn up on any Tuesday evening at 7:50 pm and have a look and listen.

SSS is a welcoming space for people to connect, share experiences, and learn new skills together.

The Irish Countrywomen’s Association Guild meets at the De la Salle Centre on the 2nd Monday of each month from September to June each meeting has a talk, demonstrations or active session. The Wicklow Guild through its many activities has promoted companionship, support and friendships have developed over the past couple of years.

New members are always welcome.
