Public Invited To Have Their Say On Preferred Option For The Wicklow To Greystones Greenway Scheme

The public are being invited to have their say on the emerging preferred route option for the Wicklow to Greystones Greenway scheme.

The vision of Wicklow to Greystones Greenway is to create a walking and cycling path of greenway standard between Wicklow Town and Greystones that provides a safe and scenic experience for people of all ages and abilities.

Integrating with and contributing to the existing and planned active travel network of Wicklow, the greenway will enhance the health and economic opportunities for local communities while preserving and promoting the natural environment.

In conjunction with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Wicklow County Council have been progressing the development of the project, which is currently at Options Selection Stage (Phase 2). All stakeholders and interested parties are invited to attend and view information on the scheme at upcoming public display events.

These non-statutory consultation events will also provide an opportunity for feedback and observations to be submitted regarding the process and conclusions reached to date, which may inform the further development of the scheme.
