🏆 WICKLOW HAS WON PRIDE OF PLACE! 🏆

🎉 What a fantastic achievement for Wicklow Town!

Wicklow Town Team, in partnership with Wicklow Municipal District, has won 1st place in the IPB Pride of Place Awards in the Community Youth Initiative category for the Murrough Pump Track! 🚴‍♂️👏

These awards celebrate the incredible work of community volunteers across Ireland who come together to make their towns better places to live. This achievement perfectly reflects Wicklow Town Team’s mission: to make Wicklow a better place to live, work and play.

At last night’s awards ceremony (Saturday 24th October) in the National Convention Centre, representatives from five groups across County Wicklow proudly represented their communities as finalists.

The Murrough Pump Track is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision to create something special for local young people. 💙

Wicklow Town Team is incredibly fortunate to have the ongoing support of so many people who freely give their time, energy and expertise to improve our town.

A HUGE THANK YOU to every volunteer who helped bring this fantastic facility to life, and to the members and staff of Wicklow Municipal District who believed in our vision and supported the project from the very beginning.

This award belongs to everyone who played a part! 🙌

Congratulations, Wicklow! A fantastic achievement for our community! 💚
