Halloween Poem
A Scary Halloween Night - by David P Carroll
It's a dark and scary Halloween night
And boys and girls your in for a terrible Fright and the air is thick and the path is long and the wind hums a creepy song
And the moon is hiding under the dark clouds and on this Halloween night
The wind begins to howl and moan and
The graveyard gates bang and swing
Open wide
And something stirs the dry and dying leaves and
The moon hangs a ghostly low a pale and watchful eye and
You'll hear the little children crying in there beds tonight as the crazy werewolf is howling under the glowing moonlight and
A creaking floorboard makes your heartbeat fly
You feel a sudden cold that makes you seize and
As scary creatures shuffle by and you'll hear the little children cry
Your heartbeats louder and you feel unease and boys and girls you better
Lock your doors and hide tonight and let the night pass you by
And the night is black the wind begins to cry
And something dark is slowly walking by
And a creepy howl a screech owl's cry
Beneath that cold dark Halloween sky and
The pumpkins glow with terrible grin and
Revealing all our hidden sins and
Halloween is a time you hold on tight
Because boys and girls it's gonna be a very scary and spooky and creepy dark Halloween night so hold on tight your in for a terrible Fright.
