The Wander Walls Public Realm Murals Project

Wicklow Town Team, Wicklow Municipal District and The Walls Project united to Create The Wander Walls. The murals and art works were installed around Wicklow Town in 2023 and were funded under the Town & Village Renewal scheme, operated by the Department of Rural & Community Development.

Wicklow Municipal District and the Town Team recognised the need for placemaking to revitalise the important links between Main Street and South Quay.

The chosen mural locations were The Doctors Steps, Salthouse Lane, Quarantine Hill, Market Square, and Scouts Hall.
