A 2nd Public Consultation phase is now open on Phase 3 of the East Coast Railway Infrastructure Protection Projects (ECRIPP).
ECRIPP is a vital initiative led by Iarnród Éireann to safeguard the Dublin to Wicklow coastal railway line from the increasing risks of coastal erosion and storm damage.
The consultation period extends from the 15th of September to the 13th of October 2025, and you are invited to engage and welcome any comments and submissions.

• Bray Head to Greystones North Beach
• Kilcoole to Newcastle
• Newcastle to Wicklow Murrough
Iarnród Éireann will hold a series of in-person consultation events as follows:
Tues 23rd September Bray Town Hall 14:00hrs to 19:00hrs
Wed 24th September Greystones Library 14:00hrs to 19:00hrs
Thurs 25th September An Tairseach Ecology Centre, Wicklow 14:00hrs to 19:00hrs
Iarnród Éireann will also host a public webinar 1 October 2025 on MS Teams.
