Sacred Wells of Glendalough
This is a guided reflective walk to visit two ancient holy wells in the area and also enjoy the beautiful landscape and history. The theme of the walk is to connect with your self and the inner and outer landscapes of our lives in preparation for the stillness of approaching winter.
The walk begins at the meeting point at The Glendalough Visitors Centre at 10.45am.We then walk to St.Kevin's Well 15 min away.This will include the history and rituals of the well, poetry, and quiet reflective time.
We then drive a short distance to park and begin the walk to Fraughans Well Tropperstown where we visit the well and enjoy the beautiful views and hear about the history and traditions of this special place.
A reasonable level of fitness is required.
Not suitable for children and no dogs allowed.
Cost is 24e(20e concession for +65yrs and low income)
