The Sports Room will hold its first 'Second Hand September' event from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 & 21, as part of a global movement to combat waste and fast fashion.
The initiative invites customers to bring back quality items originally purchased from the store—including clothing, runners, bikes, or wetsuits—so they can be resold.
For each item sold, 20pc of the profit will go to Wicklow Tidy Towns, with the remaining profit credited to the customer's in-store account for future purchases. Unsold items can either be collected or donated to a local charity.
